Due to many circumstances beyond our control, we will be cancelling this year's Drive to the Hoop 3 on 3 basketball tournament. We have tried very hard to avoid doing this, but we will not be able to make the event work this year. We fully intend to return in 2013 with an even better tournament for everyone involved. Drive to the Hoop Benefiting Prevention First
Divisions are created for all age groups and skill levels. Each team is guaranteed three refereed games, with winning teams moving on to the playoffs and finals. Donated prizes and trophies are awarded to each division winner.
Play for a great cause! DRIVE TO THE HOOP is Monmouth County's first 3-on-3 basketball tournament, staged at the brand new Monmouth University Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC) and Boylan Gymnasium. Benefiting Prevention First and Monmouth University's Women's Basketball, DRIVE TO THE HOOP provides an opportunity to participate in spirited competition while supporting a tremendous cause. Divisions are created for all age groups and skill levels.
Prevention First's mission is keeping children healthy, safe and drug-free by providing educational programs in schools. Children who have a hobby are 45% less likely to abuse drugs or alcohol.
